Junibacken is a unique piece since the direction of the light source was decided on fairly late in the working process, and comes from above the clouds. The light, in combination with the choice of colors, differs from many of my previous paintings.

Also, Junibacken, located on Djurgården is a lovely place where I usually go to find some inspiration, letting my dreams run wild. The composition of the painting and the gestures, strolling on a field or a street is supposed to symbolize just that.
