This painting truly was a challenge for me to paint as it is a size that I have never done before. I was unsure about how to create the atmosphere and calmness that I wanted. But, after some time in front of the canvas, I began to love this challenge and I am now so proud of this painting. It has a very special and unique touch, and I love the feeling it brings to a room. 

An important source of inspiration to me when painting Walk in Lill-Jansskogen has been nature and especially Lill-Jansskogen, which is one of my favorite places to take Hjärdis to. I have also used more white color on the last layer of paint instead of gold. Also, there are very thick sections of paint.
