As many of you probably already know, I like to mix romantic elements with more rough ones. This is a cityscape of beautiful Maria Berget on Söder Mälarstrand in Stockholm. I have worked a lot with especially the clouds in the painting to create a warm pink glow. The dynamic between thin layers of paint and thick ones creates a lovely playful feeling.
